A touch of gyaru ♥ (10.26.11)

A simple red and white coordinate for this week. I’m very fond of bows, and I’ve found that smaller bows can be just as awesome as huge ones. :)) The head-eater bow in the coord photo is more for loli, but if I pair this outfit with white tights and red stilettos, I could give it a more gyaru-ish feel. I think I can get away with both, yes? :P

Shot a show today!

This was taken in the editing room of the studio, where my co-host David and I were waiting for our turn to shoot our segment. Everything was live, so it was really different from the usual photo shoots I’m used to. It was a fantastic experience, and I wish I could do it again! Crazy fun and plenty of derp.

Just to avoid confusion, this was a one-time thing. The segment was for my friend Sammie’s final project in Basic TV Production class. :)

This is one of the highlights of my week (the first being our cosplay cafe yesterday). I’m happy with the quality, which is insanely good. The fibers are so soft and light! I’ll be doing reviews in the future, which I’ll also post here. So much happiness! :)

Lolistein meets Gloomy Bear

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a bunch of plushies lately, and Gloomy Bear is one of them. I’m not quite sure who in my newfound group of friends from Metro Comic Con actually owns this baby, but I’m glad I have a picture with it!

I thought it might be awesome if I could Photoshop in some bloody drool on my hand, but here’s the original photo first. Hello, watermark that is virtually unremovable. XD

Reblogging this because this is where my obsession with Gloomy Bears started. I now have ASDFGHJKL Gloomies and I like using them as accessories for lolita. XD

I realize now that I have three expensive obsessions: lolita, Gloomy Bears, and photography.

Iust shot a video for my YouTube channel, TheLolisteinChannel. This episode is on how to tease your twintails wig so that you can achieve a lovely, floofy cloud-like effect, which is suitable for some sub-styles of lolita. Will upload the video soonish, but have some teaser photos for now. XD
